Blue Jays Search For New GM Comes To End


The 2016 season for the Toronto Blue Jays was filled with highs and lows.  After winning an MLB Pro best 105 games, the Blue Jays entered the off-season with many questions, including the question of who would serve as General Manager after Dave Lockar stepped down.  While Toronto ownership has been methodical in their search – they have found their man.

Blue Jays owner and Rogers’ board chairman Alan Horn has announced that the Blue Jays have hired George Hoffman to take over as General Manager.

Hoffman is an experienced baseball mind who is known for building a plan and sticking to it.  He is committed to building Toronto into a consistent power within the American League.
