Hauck Throws No Hitter

Bill Hauck No-Hits Nats In D-Backs 4-0 Win

It was the game that pitchers dream about: the no-hitter.

It happened today at Chase Field. Bill Hauck of the Arizona Diamondbacks was right on target against the Washington Nationals in a 4-0 victory. Hauck zeroed in on them, holding them hitless with 11 strikeouts and 2 walks.

“I just had it all today,” Hauck told BNN reporters after the game. “Very good stuff and great location. That is a combination that’s hard to beat.”

Sunday’s start was Hauck’s fourth at the major league level. This was Hauck’s second start against the Nationals. He has now held the Nationals to no runs in 17 innings allowing just five hits.
