| Arizona Wins NLCS Monday, October 12th, 2020 The Arizona Diamondbacks have beaten the Colorado Rockies in the League Championship Series, despite a strong performance from Rockies right fielder Wendell Ayers. Ayers was given MVP honors for his performance even though his team came out on the losing end of the series. “It’s a good news, bad news thing I guess,” he said. “Unfortunately the bad news is really bad — our season is over.” Arizona won the final game by a score of 6-3 at Coors Field and took the series 4-0. The Arizona Diamondbacks don’t know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Los Angeles Angels – Toronto Blue Jays series. Los Angeles leads the series 3 games to 2.
