Hooper Tosses No-Hitter Against San Francisco

It was a fantastic day for Seattle Mariners starter Justin Hooper and a lousy day for the San Francisco Giants.
The Seattle hurler’s pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Giants, as the Mariners cruised to a 11-0 win. When it was all over, Hooper was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball — a no-hitter.
“The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go,” Hooper said later.
He rang up 16 strikeouts and allowed 2 walks while shutting San Francisco down at T-Mobile Park.
