2022 Trade Deadline
When: The 2022 MLB Pro Trade Deadline is Sunday, July 31 at 4:30 PM PST/7:30 PM EST. All trades must be posted and confirmed at this point in time.
Last call for files will be at 4:40 PM PST that day and then trades will begin to be processed.
Trades will be processed in the order they are submitted. It is the responsibility of each team that all rules are followed with trades.
To help give everyone a perspective for wiggle room with the -$10,000,000 money available limit, here is where each team stands as of the morning on July 14th. You are not able to surpass -$10M via trade. A team over that limit MUST CUT SALARY TO BE ABLE TO MAKE A TRADE. And also a reminder that salaries are indeed prorated. You can get an estimate of what is owed on a player’s Stats+ page and a more exact amount in-game on the trade screen.
