Upcoming Offseason Schedule

The following dates are now in-place for key off-season events. They are all subject to change if need be, but for now will be what we go with:

• The trade freeze will be lifted following the sim on Wednesday, November 6.
• Award voting (which can be found here) is due by noon PST on Friday, November 8.
• Arbitration and Qualifying Offers will be set to run in-game on Friday, November 15.
• Free-Agency filings on Sunday, November 17.
• WDL Rosters are due on Thursday, December 5.
• The Winter Meetings (Location TBD) will take place in-game Monday, December 16th – Thursday, December 19th.
• The Rule 5 Draft is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, December 19.
• Spring Training will begin mid to late February.
• Opening Day 2023 will take place on March 27, 2025.

Coach Hiring: More on this to come over the next week or two. We will be trying a new process for coach hiring this season.

Trade Reminder:

• A player who signs a big league contract or extension during the season, cannot be trade for three calendar months. (ie: Contract/Extension signed on 4/3, cannot be traded until 7/3) – During the season: Opening Day – End of the World Series
• A player who signs a big league contract or extension during the off-season, cannot be traded until July 1 of the following season. – During the offseason: all times that fall outside of OD-End of Playoffs
  • A player who is arbitration eligible who signs a one-year extension between the end of the World series and day of arbitration hearings, may be traded immediately. This one-year extension is being viewed as an arbitration settlement thus making the player eligible to be traded.
