Mariners Sweep Braves

The Seattle Mariners made quick work of the Atlanta Braves in the World Series, sweeping them aside to clinch the 2nd MLB Pro crown in Mariners history.
Seattle sealed the series today at SunTrust Park with a 4-1 victory. During the regular season play, the Mariners notched a 104-58 record and wound up in first place in the American League West race.
“I won’t say it was easy, because baseball games are rarely easy,” said Seattle manager Joe Inglett. “But I did expect we would have to play a much longer series.”
