Rumors out of Los Angeles suggest that manager Rod Barajas could be out as manager of the Los Angeles Angels.
Barjas, who has guided the Angels to great heights in his six seasons as manager of the squad has reached the end of a three-year, $3,750,000 contract.
Speculation suggests that a questionable relationship with several franchise cornerstones have left the front-office apprehensive in giving Barajas a new deal.
When reached for comment, the Angels front-office suggested that, “nothing is done or official. Rod is still our manager and is someone we have valued having. The door is not closed on the future. Whatever we decide, it will be a decision we feel is best for the franchise.”
